A New York Shoppers' icon since the 1980's, this unique Upper East Side boutique is extending its presence to include their unique concept by opening a branch on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut. After a wildly received three-month run there during the Summer of 2008, they are now opening a permanent, full service boutique located at 160 Greenwich Ave, at the former shop of Georg Jensen.
French Sole is delighted to announce their expansion and introduce Fumé Gurbuz, the co-designer of many previous collections, and the daughter of the owners of the original Manhattan shop.
Fumé, who divides her time between New York city and Rowayton, is energized about developing the presence of French Sole to Connecticut to service the broad base of fans in the area that have been traveling to the city to buy the line for years. “We love our Connecticut clients and always appreciate their efforts to visit us at our east-side shop.” states Fumé. “By opening our doors on Greenwich Avenue we can provide our customers local convenience and offer additional footwear appropriate to the Fairfield clientele”.
